Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Epil Studio website (the “Website”), our social media platforms (the “Social Media”), and any salon booking made online, by telephone, or in person (a “Booking”). They also govern your receipt of any beauty treatment services provided by Epil Studio (the “Services”).
The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Epil Studio, operated by Valeria Krivecki-Labute, a sole trader registered in England .
The terms “you” and “your” refer to any user of our Website or Social Media, or any individual making or benefiting from a Booking or receiving Services.
By using our Website or Social Media, or by making a Booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website, Social Media, or make a Booking.
You must be at least 16 years old to make a Booking.
Our Website uses cookies. By continuing to use the Website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you make a Booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have obtained their full consent to the Booking and that they agree to these Terms and Conditions. You accept responsibility for ensuring that they are aware of and comply with these Terms.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Bookings and to any modifications to a Booking, including additions, substitutions, rescheduling, or changes to the recipient of the Services.
Bookings and Special Requirements
Appointments can be made via our website through Wix Bookings or by contacting us directly. When booking, you agree to provide accurate personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, and any relevant health or medical details. Clients with special needs or who require additional assistance are requested to contact Epil Studio at least 48 hours prior to their appointment. This ensures we can provide an appropriate and safe service. Epil Studio complies with the Equality Act 2010 and makes reasonable adjustments to accommodate clients with disabilities, subject to prior notice and consultation. All appointments are confirmed only once booking details are submitted and, where applicable, payment is received.
Accessibility
Epil Studio is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients and will make reasonable adjustments wherever possible.
Please note that the treatment room is located downstairs and is accessed via a narrow staircase, which unfortunately does not allow wheelchair access. Clients with additional accessibility needs or who require assistance are kindly asked to contact Epil Studio at least 48 hours in advance so we can discuss the best possible arrangements for your visit.
Payment
All treatments must be paid in full at the time of booking or prior to the appointment. Online payments are processed securely via Stripe. Epil Studio is not responsible for technical issues arising from the payment platform. Prices are correct at the time of publication and may be updated at any time. Payments are non-refundable unless a cancellation is made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Refunds
If a client cancels or reschedules their appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice, a refund may be issued upon request. Please note that a £3 administration and payment processing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover transaction and processing costs.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, but refunds are typically completed within 3–5 working days.
Cancellations, Late Arrival, and No-Shows
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours, missed appointments, or no-shows will incur a full treatment charge.A 5–10 minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. Arriving late may result in a shortened treatment to avoid delaying subsequent clients. If the delay is significant, the appointment may need to be rescheduled, and a late appointment fee may apply.These policies ensure that all clients receive the highest quality experience, as each appointment time is reserved exclusively for the individual client.
Conduct in the Salon
To ensure a safe, professional, and comfortable environment for all clients, the following rules apply when visiting Epil Studio.
Children and Pets
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the salon. Clients aged 12–15 may attend only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and a signed consent form may be required prior to treatment.
For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted on the premises. The only exception is registered assistance dogs. Assistance dogs must be properly trained and identifiable as working assistance animals. Epil Studio reserves the right to request appropriate identification where necessary.
Behaviour and Respect
Clients and guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other clients at all times. Epil Studio reserves the right to refuse service or request that any individual causing disruption, behaving inappropriately, or showing disrespect towards staff leave the premises. In such cases, Epil Studio also reserves the right to decline future bookings.
Smoking and Intoxication
Smoking, vaping, or attending appointments while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited on the premises. Epil Studio reserves the right to refuse treatment if a client appears intoxicated.
Illness
If you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, including but not limited to flu, COVID-19, or other infectious conditions, you must not attend your appointment. Please contact us to reschedule your booking.
Right to Refuse Treatment
Epil Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time if it is considered unsafe, inappropriate, or if a client’s health condition presents a contraindication to the service. This includes, but is not limited to, undeclared medical conditions, visible skin issues, or failure to follow pre-treatment instructions. Refusal of treatment will not result in a refund if the appointment is attended without meeting the necessary safety requirements.
Client Modesty and Intimate Treatment Consent
Clients receiving intimate or private area treatments (such as bikini or Brazilian sugaring) are entitled to privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times. Therapists will use appropriate draping and follow strict hygiene procedures. By booking and attending these treatments, clients confirm their consent to receive the service as explained and understand the nature of the treatment. Clients may withdraw consent at any time before or during the service, in which case the treatment will be paused or discontinued.
Epil Studio will not send marketing emails or newsletters without your explicit consent.
Skin Reactions and Allergies
While Epil Studio takes every reasonable precaution and uses high-quality professional products, individual skin reactions may occur. By booking a treatment, clients acknowledge that they have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, or skin sensitivities prior to treatment. Epil Studio cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions or failure to follow pre-treatment or aftercare instructions.
Treatment Results Disclaimer
Results may vary depending on individual factors such as hair type, skin condition, hormonal changes, and adherence to recommended treatment schedules. Epil Studio does not guarantee identical results for every client. Treatments are performed according to professional standards to achieve the best possible outcome.
Photography and Social Media
From time to time, Epil Studio may take photographs of treatments, results, or the salon environment for educational, training, or promotional purposes. Clients will be asked to sign a separate consent form granting permission for Epil Studio to use such photographs. With the client’s written consent, photographs may be used for marketing, educational purposes, social media platforms, or on the Epil Studio website. No identifiable images of clients will be published without prior consent. Clients have the right to decline photography at any time, and refusal will not affect the quality of service provided.
Client Photography
Clients are welcome to take photographs and share their experience on social media; however, we kindly ask that the privacy of our staff and other clients is respected at all times. Care should be taken to ensure that no confidential or sensitive information is included in any published material.
Visitors who are not receiving a service may not take photographs or videos for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Epil Studio.
Website Usage
By accessing and using this website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the website by any other user. Unauthorised use of this website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, data, or services, is strictly prohibited. Client Responsibilities and Consent
By booking a treatment, you confirm that you:
Have read and understood any relevant contraindications or pre-treatment instructions.
Are not experiencing any condition that would prevent safe treatment.
Have disclosed all relevant health information, medications, or skin conditions.
Understand that results may vary depending on individual skin, hair type, or other factors.
Before certain treatments, clients may be required to complete a patch test or client registration form to ensure safety.
Treatments will proceed only after this information is reviewed and consent is obtained.
Hygiene and Safety Standards
Epil Studio follows strict hygiene and safety protocols in accordance with UK and Ukrainian beauty regulations.
Single-use items such as gloves, spatulas, and couch covers are disposed of after each client.
Reusable tools, including trimmers, are cleaned in professional-grade disinfectant, air-dried, and sterilised in a high-temperature dry heat steriliser. Disinfectant spray is applied to tools immediately before use. These measures ensure a safe, professional, and hygienic experience for all clients.
Force Majeure
Epil Studio will not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to provide services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, internet outages, fire, flood, or other circumstances deemed force majeure.
Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while on the premises. Epil Studio does not accept liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
Liability
While all reasonable precautions are taken, by booking a treatment you acknowledge that:

Individual results may vary depending on hair type, skin type, and other factors.
Epil Studio is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed medical conditions, medications, or failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions.

Promotional offers cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise. All treatments, products, and offers are subject to availability, and prices may change at any time without prior notice.
